BlockFlow is at blockflow.geccomputers.com. Sign-in is handled by the company sign-in service. BlockFlow stores the account id and email that service returns.

When you capture text, BlockFlow stores the exact selection, the page title, the source address, and the time. The highlighted text, your notes, and the page address are encrypted in the database. BlockFlow unlocks them to show the flow, and to place that text on a calendar event if you connect one. A backup of the database is encrypted as well. Block and flow titles stay readable so the week view can show them. The browser extension reads that selection only after you choose Send to BlockFlow or send from the toolbar. It talks only to blockflow.geccomputers.com.

If you connect a calendar, BlockFlow stores the tokens that calendar gives it and publishes your block names and the flows in those blocks onto that calendar. The copy on the calendar is the calendar's own copy. You can disconnect the calendar from the BlockFlow page.

BlockFlow uses this information to show you your flows and to keep the calendar you connected up to date. It is not sold.
